Join fellow moms and children at the park, weather permitting.  Days, times, themes and park locations vary. Park days are noted on our monthly schedules.

Park Days
Board

Our Board consists of five members: A President, a Vice President of Membership, an Administrative Vice President, a Treasurer and a Secretary. Each Board is elected by member vote and serves for a one year term. Our Board oversees the club activities and keeps our chapter on par with the regulations of MOMS Club International.

1/10

Our chapter prides itself on our vast selection of activities. We provide a monthly calendar with daily activities hosted by our members. The diverse assortment includes crafting, outdoor play, sports, book discussions, magazine swaps, open play at someone’s home, outings to our local zoo, library story times, tours of local businesses, and much more. You and your child(ren) will have fun while building lifetime friendships. Most activities are free; all are optional. Members are only asked to RSVP to the hostess the day before a if you plan to attend.

Holiday Parties

Our Party Planning Committee plans several holiday parties throughout the year. These gatherings are cherished club traditions and are usually well attended. Our parties provide a great opportunity for the whole club to come together so that moms and children can interact and celebrate as a “family”.

Committees & Special Interest Groups

The ladies in our chapter are encouraged to join one or more of our committees, according to their interests and availability – although committee participation is not required. Our chapter currently offers the following committees and special interest groups:

  • Party Planning

  • Meals for Moms

  • Calendar

  • Hospitality

  • Empty Nesters

  • Moms' Night Out/In

  • HOOT OWLS  (Husbands Out Of Town Or Working Late)

Participation on a committee is an excellent way to get to know other members with similar interests.

Meals for Moms

The Meals for Moms committee delivers meals to members who have recently had a baby, had surgery, are ill, or as needed for any other reason.

Empty Nesters

Our Calendar Committee works hard to fill our chapter’s calendar each month. The calendar lists daily playgroups, Moms Night Out, club meetings, guest speakers, club parties, family events and park meet-ups. Click here and here for sample calendars.

Moms' Night Out/In

Our Moms Night Out Committee schedules a fun evening activity once per month. We alternate between evenings out and evenings hosted in members’ homes. This is an nice opportunity to get out, relax and have lots of laughs!

Hospitality

The Hospitality Committee puts their creativity to work in the creation and mailing of invitations as needed throughout the year. They also schedule fun “secret” gift exchanges throughout the year.

Monthly Club Meeting

Members are encouraged to join our board members once per month to discuss club news and exchange ideas while our children play. Attendance is not required; however the club meetings are generally well attended as they are a great way to learn the ways of the club and meet members and their children. Occasionally we have guest speakers at our club meetings to inform our members of topics relevant to ourselves and our families. Some examples of past speaker topics include: food and sleep issues, first aid and safety, nutrition and more.

Service Projects

MOMS Club of Norriton members choose monthly service projects. Participation in service projects is entirely optional. We typically choose activities in which moms and children can participate together. Examples of past service projects include coat drives, food drives, participation in walk/run fundraisers, park clean ups, collecting school supplies, stuffed animal collection for Stuffy Love, donating and planting trees at a local park, and much more.
